I traveled solo for a month around southern Africa! (Late August to late September 2025) This time, I traveled to my first country, Namibia, in southwestern Africa. This video is a vlog packed with travel information, from a walk around the capital, Windhoek, to the world-famous Namib Desert! I'll also show you easy-to-visit tourist spots like the church and the Independence Museum, my interactions with the Himva people I met in the city, and some recommended accommodations I stayed at. ◎2-Night, 3-Day Tour in the Namib Desert (see chapter) I was blown away by the views of Deadvlei and Dune 45, and even tried hiking in Big Daddy Sand Dune. The lodge I stayed at in the desert area had excellent food and views, with fossilized sand dunes stretching out before my eyes. I experienced nature beyond my imagination, with oryx and pumbaa walking right in front of my lodge. About the Desert Tour The two-night tour I took from Windhoek to Sossusvlei was on a shared shuttle bus, and there was no guide on-board throughout the trip. Although it's called a tour, the travel agency handled round-trip transportation from the accommodation to the truck port and back to the lodge by shuttle bus, as well as booking the lodge accommodation and day desert tour. Essentially, you're traveling independently. The day-trip desert tour is offered by the lodge and includes a lodge guide. As mentioned in the video, enjoying the sand dunes and dead skies while watching the sunrise is not possible on this tour; you must stay at a specific campsite. Personally, I enjoyed the tour even without the sunrise and was impressed! To be honest, all of the tours to enjoy the desert are incredibly expensive...
