🥾 Day 18 – Ferry from Fowey to Polruan and a 12-Hour Push Towards Plymouth! | South West Coast Path

Day 18 of my South West Coast Path adventure is underway—and it starts a little differently today… ⛴️ This morning begins with the short but iconic ferry crossing from Fowey to Polruan, leaving behind one stunning harbour and stepping straight into the next chapter of the journey. Once across the water, it’s straight back onto the trail as I begin the next leg heading towards Plymouth—and what a day it turned out to be… ⏱️ 12 hours of walking along this relentless coastline. Steep climbs, constant ups and downs, and rugged terrain that really tests the legs—but the views make every step worth it. As the day comes to an end, I finally reach Whitsands Holiday Park, where I’ve got a proper bed for the night—massive thanks to my Auntie Wendy for sorting that out.
