Timeless Knowlege: Meet the Indigenous Women Restoring Kenya's Mau Forest

In many African communities, women are the unsung stewards of their land. From seed selection to soil management, they hold a deep understanding of the local landscape that has been passed down through generations. In Kenya, Paran Women Group is putting leadership in the hands of these women. Working with 64 Indigenous communities, they are harnessing this knowledge to revitalize the once-lush Mau Forest and protect vital water resources for the region. Through TerraFund's inclusive finance models, Paran involves local communities in project design and management, strengthening grassroots decision-making.
