Evening forecast July 17, 2026

Scattered rain and thunderstorms will impact Utah today, with flooding rains across the southern half of the state. High temperatures will be in the mid-90s, with overnight lows in the 70s. Scattered storms slide south on Saturday and Sunday, lessening the chance for rain in Salt Lake City, but the threat remains in central and southern Utah. The Wasatch Front will see increased chances for rain on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week as the monsoon surges back north. Flash flood potential will remain high through the weekend and into early next week, especially near burn scars, slot canyons, and normally dry washes.
