Goodbye Juno. (Vaporwave, Slushwave)

Last week I was fishing down by the Missouri River. It was a rare sunny day, given the number of storms we've had this year. The river was sitting high, almost up to the concrete slab I set my camping chair on. I was lazily watching my bobber when I noticed something in the reeds nearby. It was slightly shiny, bobbing up and down among the green stems. Being bored, I grabbed my net and went to investigate. When I got closer, I saw it was a ziplock bag, bloated with air and a little water. I fished it out with the net and plopped it onto the grass. When I opened it up, I saw there was a cassette tape inside the bag, in surprisingly good condition. I don't know much about cassette tapes, but maybe it was left there recently? Hard to say. I was immediately intrigued. Why was this here? Who left it there? Who is Juno? I had to find out what was on that tape. I gathered my gear up, abandoning my post at the water’s edge. I looked around at a couple of thrift shops to find something that could play a cassette. I finally found a weathered old boombox with a cassette port(?) on the front of it. After I was convinced the cassette had dried enough to put it in the machine, I slotted it in and hit “play”. I never could have predicted what was on it. It seems to be some sort of mixtape? But the audio is strange, weathered. What is this thing? If anyone has any information on this tape, please reach out! Roger [email protected] https://drowningdoll.bandcamp.com/album/go...
