Running Eagle cylinder heads on a Pre-Eagle 5.7L HEMI: What to know
In today's video, we discuss running cylinder heads from a 2009+ 5.7L "Eagle" HEMI on a 2003-2008 "Pre-Eagle" 5.7L HEMI. I discuss the reasoning behind swapping cylinder heads as well as how, detailing the components needed. Additional information: I realized that I had forgotten to mention specifics for flow numbers. Eagle cylinder heads outperform the Pre-Eagle heads significantly, with the Eagle heads flowing 331 CFM @ .600 lift compared to 269 CFM seen from the Pre-Eagle heads @ .600 lift on the same exact flow bench. The Eagle cylinder heads flow almost identically to 6.1L HEMI cylinder heads, stay tuned for the comparison video! This video pertains to 2003-2008 5.7L HEMI owners.
