Bristol Quiet Areas Plan 2025 - CCRI Seminar 14/05/26

A Citizen-Led Approach to Co-Create an Inclusive Map with Neurodivergent People to Define Quiet Spaces and Improve Mobility The Bristol Quiet Areas Plan 2025 is a 9-month EPSRC-funded project exploring how quiet, nature-rich urban spaces can improve accessibility, wellbeing, and mobility—particularly for neurodivergent people. Funded by the Ecological Citizen(s) Network+ (EPSRC/UKRI EP/W020610/1), the research project runs from December 2025 to August 2026. The project combines inclusive research with digital innovation to make Bristol more equitable, resilient, and connected – enhancing wellbeing for all through the power of quiet, sensory-aware design.
