The Gdańsk drink bar "Rozi" is one of the most notorious spots on the Tricity nightlife map. For many years, a gang of pimps operated there, earning tens of millions of złoty from prostitution. According to the prosecutor's office, its core members were people from fan groups and martial arts clubs. A few weeks ago, the indictment in this case was filed in court. Among those accused of crimes related to the activities of "Rozi" is Grzegorz H., a.k.a. Śledziu. The investigation also includes Patryk M., a.k.a. Wielki Bu, and Olgierd L., a.k.a. Olo. All of them, as the media have reported for weeks, are friends of presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki. Bertold Kittel from "Superwizjer" revealed the workings of the underground sex industry in Pomerania in his report "Tricity Pimps." After its premiere on TVN24, the author, along with Dr. Hab. Tomasz Safjański from the WSB University and Szymon Osowski from the Watchdog Citizens' Network explored how it was possible for "Rozi," whose history dates back to the 1980s, to survive the gang wars of the 1990s and operate effectively for decades to come, practically under the noses of the security services and prosecutors.
