Marbatho | Notes from Remote Rivers

Invited by the South African fly fishing magazine The Mission, Håvard Stubö, Markus Lemke and I travelled south to pursuit the great colonialist sport of dry fly fishing. In Cape Town we fished for Rainbow Trout, Sawfins and Clan William Yellowfish. Then we hooked up with skateboarding legend Brendon Body, from the Mission Magazine (https://themissionflymag.com/) and together with him we drove across South Africa to the Mountain Kingdom. In Lesotho were we stayed at African Waters - Makhangoa Community Camp. It was a very special trip. We were a group of Scandinavians who thought we knew things about the world, but we quickly started to see the walls of our own bubble.
