BIDA RING ROAD TAKING SHAPE AS ASPHALT LAYING ADVANCES RAPIDLY — NNDP WEEKLY UPDATE, WEEK 92

The 44-kilometer dual carriageway Bida Ring Road is fast taking shape under the visionary leadership of Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago through the New Niger Development Project (NNDP). This week’s progress shows steady asphalt laying on the right-hand side from the Minna–Bida intersection to the Bida–Zungeru intersection, complemented by two beautiful roundabouts at both intersections, adding a modern aesthetic to the city’s landscape. Work also continues on the 4-cell 4.0m x 4.0m box culvert, now 85% complete, with reinforcement and concrete casting expected to finish before the Christmas break. The Bida Ring Road Project is not just transforming roads — it’s opening new economic pathways, decongesting traffic, and ushering in a New Niger under Governor Bago’s transformative vision.
