High Tech Machine, Handmade Chaos (xTool M2)

I'm deep in making mode, prepping for my table at the ICON Illustration Conference Roadshow. I experimented w/ my xTool M2 laser/inkjet machine to make a bunch of new stuff. ( Check out the xTool M2 — https://bit.ly/4eCe9jC ) Some of it worked great, some of it was a disaster, and a few happy accidents led to some new ideas. What I made: • One-page zines scored, cut, and printed with the M2 • Hand-stamped mini prints using laser-engraved rubber stamps • Custom engraved passport covers / pocket sketchbook holders • Wooden standup figures with colored MDF • Handmade cards with stamped designs • Garbage X-Men parody trading cards • A mini album art zine with a record slipcase • An acrylic event sign (that accidentally gave me two signs) • Custom stamped sketchbook covers Along the way I figure out that cutting vinyl makes chlorine gas, that alignment is harder than it looks, and that sometimes the messiest prints are the best ones. 🌐 Website: https://www.chrispiascik.com 🖌 Check out my Retro Supply Co Brush and Texture pack: https://bit.ly/3Lk5cMl 💟 Become a Patron for exclusive content / access:   / chrispiascik   🐐👨‍👨‍👦‍👦 👨‍👩‍👧👩‍👧‍👦🦁🦄 Join our growing creative community on Discord:   / discord   💌 Sign up to my mailing list and get a free download!: https://www.chrispiascik.com/free-dow... 🛒 Stuff I use and Recommend: https://tinyurl.com/CPamazonshop 👨‍🎓 Check out my Skillshare classes w/ a FREE Month: https://tinyurl.com/MYSKILLSHARE #art #illustration #drawing #DigitalArt ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ DISCLOSURE: I sometimes review and/or link to products & services I have used (or tried).
