Today we interview Alfredo Fernández, the man behind "Operation Bollycao." Faced with media manipulation of abuse cases within the Church by news outlets and official bodies, Alfredo Fernández, along with some colleagues, fabricated a story to test the rigor of the "investigations" into sexual abuse cases in the Church. The result was that the story was published in both the newspaper El País and in the report prepared by the Ombudsman, without any further investigation. Given the evident lack of professionalism of the supposed investigators, El País responded by attacking Alfredo Fernández with a report intended to defame him. Today he tells us the story.
