We Found Wild Koalas in Australia! (Kayaking + Raymond Island)

Kayaking in Australia doesn't get more peaceful than this — a guided tour along the Pambula River followed by wild koala spotting on Raymond Island, one of the best places to see koalas in Australia. If you're planning things to do in New South Wales, this is an unmissable combination. We spent the day exploring Australia’s coast with a Pambula River kayaking tour, followed by a visit to Raymond Island—one of the best places to see wild koalas in Australia. This turned out to be one of our favorite days of the trip. We started our morning kayaking along the beautiful Pambula River with a locally run tour, learning about the area and taking in the scenery as we paddled upstream toward Severs Beach. After some time to relax (and enjoy a quick tea break on the beach), we hit the road and made our way to Raymond Island. Raymond Island is famous for its Koala Trail, where you can walk through the trees and spot koalas living freely in their natural habitat. It’s one of the easiest and most unique places to see wild koalas up close. If you’re planning a trip through this part of Australia, both of these experiences are absolutely worth adding to your itinerary. 🔗 Pambula River Kayaking Tour: https://navigateexpeditions.com/tour/... 🔗 Raymond Island Koala Trail / Foundation: https://www.koalaislandfoundation.com...
