After strolling around Fisherman's Wharf this afternoon, I was stunned. The once bustling shopping street now has only a handful of shops still open. Even more surprising was the closure of a once-famous century-old seafood restaurant. I've witnessed San Francisco's former prosperity and its current desolation.
