TURTLE SHELL BACK DAY // 10 WEEKS OUT CALI PRO // @ Irvings Peak Performance

Welcome back to the channel. In this episode we take the prep on the road and train at Irvings Peak Performance Gym in Hamilton for a brutal high-intensity back workout as we continue the countdown to the 2026 bodybuilding competition season. With 10 weeks out from the Cali Pro, training is still flying, physique updates are coming in strong, and the focus remains on building and maintaining maximum muscle while dialling in conditioning. This session follows my typical pro bodybuilding training structure – starting with cable pullovers to drive blood into the upper back before moving into heavier compound movements including pulldowns, rows, and finishing with Romanian deadlifts (RDLs) to target the posterior chain, erectors, and hamstrings. It’s a raw look at real bodybuilding prep training, the intensity required to progress in the sport, and what it takes physically and mentally to push closer to stage condition. We also talk about one of the most overlooked aspects of bodybuilding success – the off-season. Many athletes waste valuable time between shows, but a disciplined off-season built around progressive overload, structured nutrition, and consistent training is what makes prep far more efficient. If you’re an amateur or pro bodybuilder, a strength training enthusiast, or someone looking to understand what elite level bodybuilding prep looks like day-to-day, this video gives you a real insight into the grind.
