Bushcraft ohne Topf: Wasser in Rinde kochen

In this video, I'm making a simple bark vessel from fresh willow bark and testing whether it's actually possible to boil water in it. Many bushcrafters know the theory: as long as there's water in the vessel, the bark shouldn't burn. But does this work in practice? I'm making the vessel directly from willow bark, closing it with simple wooden pegs, and then placing it in the fire. In the end, I'll see if the water actually boils and whether such a vessel could be suitable as an emergency water purification solution. 👉 Does boiling water in bark really work? 👉 Will the vessel withstand the fire? 👉 And would this be a useful method for bushcraft or survival?
