The McCourt Story: Our Journey
Experience The McCourt Story, a video journey that highlights our history, values, and the people who make it all possible. It all started with a dream. In 1893, John McCourt left his job at Boston Gas to launch his own business, “The John McCourt Company.” That decision changed the trajectory of the McCourt family and of New England, laying the foundation for what would become the region’s premier general contractor. Over the past 132 years, McCourt Construction has upheld excellence— a legacy built on safety, pride, and quality. From generation to generation, we have continued to push the boundaries of modern construction while staying true to the core values that have guided us since the beginning. Our projects stand as a testament to our commitment to shaping the infrastructure of New England and beyond. At McCourt, our people are the heart of our success. We invest in and support each team member, fostering a culture where being valued inspires loyalty. The strong relationships we’ve built—with our employees, clients, and communities—have driven our continued growth. As we look toward the future, we remain dedicated to training, mentoring, and empowering the next generation of civil construction professionals. Today's work is not just about building infrastructure—it’s about making a lasting impact. With 132 years behind us and many more ahead, McCourt Construction is ready to continue shaping the future with passion, expertise, and integrity. • Videography & Production: the wonderful team at @copperhoundpictures143 • McCourt Construction is a large, diversified General Contractor headquartered in Boston, MA.
