Groove Essentials - Groove 44 Mozambique
Here's a groove Steve Gadd is known for and hopefully I represent it well. It's basically a giant poly-rhythm because it put a well syncopated 2-bar phrase (with a lot of nuance) against (in my mind) Latin rhythms. The track has 4 sections which I used a variety of different Latin rhythms in. That sick mix is thanks to Jakob Mooney! Hope you enjoy!
