Mercado Vial TV participated in a demonstration conducted by XCMG Chile for a major client in the mining sector. We were able to see the xc968-EV in action. This machine adopts the industry's first three-motor technical solution, making it more environmentally friendly and reducing emissions. The xc968-EV has an operating weight of 18,800 kg, a bucket capacity of 3.2 m³, and a payload capacity of 5,800 kg. Regarding its electric motors, it features two 100 kW drive motors at 636 rpm and one 70 kW hydraulic motor at 2,500 rpm. Furthermore, the motor controller can charge the backup battery during operation by detecting brake or accelerator signals.
