In this vlog, we're taking a rainy-day road trip through Furano, Biei, and Sunagawa, sharing the raw "Expectation vs. Reality" updates you need to know before booking your trip. From eating world-class melons in a downpour to exploring an ultra-aesthetic, minimalist open fragrance factory, here is exactly what to expect. ✨ STOPS IN THIS VLOG: 📍 Farm Tomita (Furano) The famous lavender fields are just waking up in mid-June, leaving some sparse, underwhelming gaps. But don't skip it! The dense "Spring Fields" of early poppies and lupins are in full, seamless bloom. 🔥 Food Highlight: Sheltering from the rain to eat fresh Furano Melons. They hit a whopping 15%+ sugar content level (Brix scale), making them unbelievably sweet! 📍 Panoramic Flower Gardens Shikisai-no-oka (Biei) The iconic rainbow stripes don't peak until late July/August, so expect mostly bare green and brown rolling hills right now. The silver lining? Admission is completely FREE in June! We hopped on the 500 yen "Norokko" Tractor Bus for a breezy 15-minute scenic loop and spent time hand-feeding the fluffy residents at the Alpaca Farm (500 yen entry)—100% worth it. 📍 Shirahige Falls & Shirogane Blue Pond (Biei) Heavy rain alters these water features completely. Shirahige Falls becomes a roaring, dramatic powerhouse of white mist. However, the Blue Pond completely loses its signature cobalt color in heavy rain because sediment gets stirred up, turning it into a murky, dull green puddle. 📍 SHIRO Factory Shop "Minna no Kojo" (Sunagawa) The ultimate finale at the birthplace of SHIRO. Built on a former elementary school site, this flagship complex features complete architectural minimalism with floor-to-ceiling glass walls so you can watch products being made in real-time.
