Making use of fabric blends can improve the overall quality and durability of a fabric. One could improve the benefits and properties of the fibers by making use of blends. Unfortunately, it can also be to produce a lower quality garment that is sold at a higher price, therefore it's important what blends to look out for and which ones to skip.
