Evaluative Inquiry for Systemic Change: A Guide to Shift Beyond Fixes to Lasting Value
Emily Gates and Pablo Vidueira have written a book that integrates leading edge understandings of evaluation, systems change, and valuing. In this video the authors illuminate the key ideas in the book's title: -- systematic evaluative inquiry versus traditional evaluation designs; -- systemic change versus common notions of changing systems; and -- generating lasting value versus short-term fixes based on attaining narrow program outcomes. This video is a chance to meet and hear from a new generation about systems-oriented, values-focused evaluation theory and practice.
