Improving a Si4825-based radio with the Si4827 and Arduino.
This project proposes converting a generic radio based on the DSP Si4825 into an upgraded model using the DSP Si4827. The transition to the Si4827 brings the advantage of incorporating both analog and digital functionalities, offering greater versatility and performance. To enhance the user experience, an OLED display will be integrated for clear and modern visualization of the frequency and other radio parameters, improving the interface. The system will be controlled by a microcontroller, with the option to use an Arduino Pro Mini 3.3V or the LGT8F328, a more efficient and cost-effective alternative to the traditional Arduino. This choice ensures compatibility and flexibility in development, while also allowing firmware customization to fully leverage the capabilities of the DSP Si4827.
