Paramotor Helmets - Bluetooth or not? | Avery Flies

When I put together my second paramotor setup, I realized I'd need a second helmet and comms setup to keep with it. I decided to try to save money and build a similarly featured headset as my first headset. Here I compare bluetooth vs hardwired connections and whether or not the increased price of wireless connectivity is worth it. Both helmets have a 2-way FM radio, aircraft radio, and phone audio connections. If you don't need all of these sources, your costs will be lower. The apps I use are Gaggle for flight recording and radar2 for anti-collison.
