The big day has arrived! We set off on Portugal's greatest road adventure: the legendary National Road 2. On this first day, we left Porto towards Chaves to take the iconic photo at Kilometer Zero. Along the way, we escaped the rain, crossed incredible landscapes, saw eagles soaring, passed by Pedras Salgadas, Santa Marta de Penaguião, the "wild ducks" of Régua, and even tackled the slopes of Lamego (Senhora dos Remédios). To end the day in Viseu, an unexpected stop at a church with flower carpets and a hotel room that left us speechless (and with a private bartender!).
