The Other Side of Tokyo: 1 AM Bike Rides & Hidden Cityscapes #midnight #tokyo #japaneseculture

Welcome back to Window Seat Stories. ☁️✨ In this chapter, we are diving deeper into the contrasting heartbeat of Japan. After finding peace in the historic streets of Asakusa, we watched the evening lights flicker on from a cozy corner opposite the Tokyo Skytree—complete with rainy clouds creating a beautiful glowing halo over the tower. But Tokyo doesn't sleep when the sun goes down. At 1:00 AM, we took to the empty, neon-lit streets on electric bikes for an unforgettable midnight ride through the city. The next morning, we set off on a stamp-hunting quest, wandering through the pink canopy of Ueno Park filled with families enjoying the Sakuras, and stepping into the deep, tranquil forest sanctuary of Meiji Park. As a photographer, capturing these fleeting, precious moments feels like a dream come true.
