Jaguar E Type Series II Rebuild - 2023-01-18 - Torsion Bar Settings

With the lower wishbones installed, I decided to check my torsion bar settings using the gauge defined in my E Type Bible manual. The defined gauge is easy to make and install. The process to check the torsion bar settings is quite straight forward. The end result showed an error in the passenger side original settings with the driver side settings being correct based on the settings from the strip down. I also cross checked the Richard Owen dimension from the top of the picture frame to the tip of the lower wishbone and it is spot on at 20.5 in.
