Starring Müşfik Kenter, Sema Özcan, and Süleyman Saim Tekcan, the 1965 film "Time to Love" failed to attract film industry actors due to concerns that its unique structure would not appeal to audiences, and it was not released. However, those who somehow managed to see the film were deeply impressed by it, and word spread that "Time to Love" was "a masterpiece," quickly propelling it into cult status in Turkish cinema. In this low-budget independent production, Metin Erksan created a world of his own rather than following the familiar world. Instead of being chased by life itself, he pursued it. Halil is disturbed by the constant change in the physical world, the abode of beings, and by the perception of this change as time. He realizes that the change he sees everywhere he looks, his knowledge, interest, and feelings about beings cannot remain constant. Yet, while the entire physical world is changing, Halil longs for stability and to remain in the moment. Because of Halil's desire for stability, the moment and eternity coincide for him: he seeks a world where nothing changes in the slightest, where time has no impact on anything. Halil's ideal world is a world of ideas, comprised of meanings that point to the immutable essences of those beings, rather than mutable physical beings; Because there is no change, it is a timeless realm of meanings, insensitive to time. Therefore, for Halil, love ceases to be an emotion that can be directed at a being that changes over time. Because the ideal conditions that generate the feeling of love are constantly changing in the physical world, they will soon cease to be ideal conditions, and the feeling of love will follow this change, transforming it into other emotions. Therefore, Halil feels that the feeling of love can only be directed towards a constancy that resists change. Instead of a constantly changing person, his feelings fall in love with the immutability of a painted image of that person. Join this channel to enjoy the privileges:    / @avangarttv
