Woodburning a Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly
Woodburning is another craft that I really enjoy. I hope you do too! This week I use a slab of basswood and my pyrography tool, along with some colored pencils, and do my best to bring this beautiful creature some realism in art. I'm having fun with the butterfly series, this being number three. I'll link the other two I've done as well as a couple other wood burning projects in the cards, upper right hand corner, in-video clickables. Showing subscriber projects like I do in this video, is my way of saying thank you for your subscriptions! I really appreciate every one of you! And like I've said before, the talent that exists in this viewing audience is extremely humbling to me. You all make me want to do better. Thank you for that. FYI (not sponsored): I used Prismacolor pencils for this project. The woodburning system I use is the Detail Master Sabre IV, and I used the writing nib for the entire burn. My snail mail address is: Rod Humphrey My email address is: [email protected] If you want to submit pics of your work for showing, please give me permission in the email, or I won't consider your photos. Some folks just want to show me what they've made and I'll respect those wishes. Thanks for watching! Be well! God Bless & Semper Fidelis
