Шуруповерты 60Nm Ridgid R860054 – DEWALT 777 – Milwaukee 2801
In this video, I decided to compare three brushless drill bits in the 10,000 ruble price range (per set). Besides price and the presence of brushless motors, these tools share very similar specifications (see table) and the fact that they all came to Russia from the USA. Therefore, it's natural to compare them in action and try to understand what our buyer gets for their 10,000 rubles. These tools themselves are very versatile and capable of a wide range of tasks. Even if we tried to conduct a full-scale review of the capabilities of just one of these trio, it would be difficult to condense the information into a video lasting less than an hour. This led me to the idea of making the test as concise as possible: first, to test these drill bits in the most commonly used applications: drilling metal, drilling wood, screwing screws, and driving wood screws. second, to avoid wasting time on simple, low-stress tasks and instead try them out in strength training exercises that push the tool to its limits. So, for the test, I selected: the largest possible metal drill bit size – 13mm – and an old Soviet steel angle 45x45x4 mm. An Enkor drill bit, a regular one, not new, but already quite well-used. a 38mm wood spade bit and a 25mm speedbored wood bit for a 50x200mm pine board. 6x200mm self-tapping screws, 8x200mm screws, 10x200mm screws, and a lumber assembly of the corresponding thickness. While the screwdrivers had very similar specifications, unfortunately, they came with different batteries, chargers, bags, and accessories. However, this demonstrates the variety of options available for the same price. For example, someone needs a focus on drilling and peak power and is willing to put up with the heavier, bulkier 4Ah battery (like the one in the Ridgid kit) and wait two hours for it to charge because they don't have the money for a second one. Moreover, a high-capacity battery allows you to later purchase separate hammer drills, grinders, circular saws, or sabers, which require a 4Ah or higher battery for proper operation. Another significant advantage of a single "large" battery is its theoretically longer life. For two reasons: a) it's more difficult to overload, overheat, or overdischarge, and b) it requires far less frequent charging. And the number of charge/discharge cycles in batteries is limited (currently, good batteries have a lifespan of approximately 500-1000). Others, on the other hand, primarily use a screwdriver to tighten small fasteners, doing so from morning until night, perhaps in awkward positions where they need to hold the tool overhead or at arm's length. Since the screwdriver is always in hand, the battery's weight is important, and it's preferable to have at least two batteries to ensure continuous operation. Moreover, the screwdriver is intended to be the only cordless tool in the household. Therefore, a powerful charger and battery are not necessary. And some are willing to compromise and, when starting out, start with the most compact and lightweight screwdriver with a single, relatively compact and lightweight 2Ah battery and a fast charger. However, with such a powerful charger, it's possible to later purchase only the body of a high-power tool with a suitable 4Ah or 6Ah battery. RIDGID Very cool, bright, aggressive design with a very grippy handle Backlight on the heel and very bright (apparently brighter than the competition!) Includes a heavy-duty bracket, bit holder, and a double-ended 2" bit Nice briefcase-style bag. But very compact. A Shurik + Impact + battery + charger wouldn't fit AEG has its headquarters in Europe and Russia, of which Ridgid is a clone. This means no hassle with repairs at AEG repair shops. Incidentally, AEG batteries are completely interchangeable. Very cool batteries with advanced indicators on the front panel and a rubberized sole Largest and heaviest tool in the test DEWALT Two batteries included Most powerful (based on specifications) in the test Official dealers in Russia Very weak batteries, 1.3 Ah, no indicator or rubberized sole no extra features weak charging MILWAUKEE the most compact and lightest battery in the test and probably among its class belt clip included powerful fast charger for M12 and M18 batteries largest travel bag, powerful and well-made excellent 2 Ah battery, with excellent indicator lights on the front panel and a rubberized sole official dealers available in Russia only one battery included P.S. I'm not an expert. I don't claim absolute authority. I'm not advocating for anything. I'm not promoting anything. I'm expressing only my humble, personal opinion here.
