How I Bottle Honey | HillCo Bottling Tank & Speed Fill Setup

In this video I walk through the honey bottling setup I use in my honey house and explain why I chose specific equipment for processing and bottling honey efficiently. The video begins with a look at my HillCo 16-gallon bottling tank. I explain why I chose a bottling tank instead of a traditional honey storage tank. My goal was to have a system that allows me to keep honey warm year-round, prevent crystallization, and also give me the option to gently reduce moisture content if a batch of honey comes out slightly higher than desired. After walking through the bottling tank setup, the video transitions to the HillCo Speed Fill Honey Bottler on my workbench. This piece of equipment has been a huge time saver in my bottling process. Even with the fill rate reduced to the lowest setting of 25%, the machine can fill a 1-pound bottle of honey in about five seconds. For anyone interested in scaling up their honey bottling process or simply seeing how other beekeepers handle their honey house workflow, I hope this video provides a helpful look at the equipment and process I use here at Coles Farm. 🐝 One link.
