After that, we went to a florist to pick out roses, and finally got home and started making sweets. We broke up the chocolate, melted it, and decorated it. We snacked on some along the way, which took longer than expected, and we got a little hectic at the end. Still, we kept our promise not to tell mom, and the surprise after dinner was a success.
