CHAMADOS PARA REFLETIR A GLÓRIA DE DEUS (Ef. 1:15-23) Rev. Wadislau Gomes

CALLED TO REFLECT THE GLORY OF GOD (Eph. 1:15-23) Rev. Wadislau Gomes Sermon of March 22, 2022 In his sermon of March 26, 2022, Rev. Wadislau Gomes expounds on Ephesians 1:15–23, highlighting Paul's prayer that believers may have a profound knowledge of God. He emphasizes that we have been called to reflect divine glory, living in holiness, love, and fellowship. True wisdom comes from God's revelation, not just from human intellect. The preacher stresses the importance of having the "eyes of the heart enlightened" to understand the hope of the calling and the richness of the inheritance in Christ. He also highlights the power of God that works in believers, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. The Christian life involves forgiveness, unity, and dependence on the Holy Spirit. Finally, he reinforces that Christ reigns sovereign and intercedes for his church, which is his body in the world. The IPP is an alliance of people willing to live reflecting the excellence of Christ. To this end, they receive and promote biblical instruction, fellowship with the Lord and His people, the worship of God, and the performance of His service.
