MODEL EXPO ITALY 2025 A VERONA: MODELLISMO E PLASTICI FERROVIARI!

This year, it once again welcomed numerous visitors from all over Italy. The fair featured pavilions 6, 9, 10, 11, and 12, with numerous exhibitors. In particular, the entire pavilion 11 was dedicated to model modeling in all scales, featuring not only shops and associations, but also several brands, particularly ACME, HORNBY, ViTrains, Pi.R.A.T.A, Blackstar, and others. ACME first displayed the ETR104 Trenitalia, still without its livery, followed by the Intercity ICNG train of the Dutch railways and two E404s with four ETR500 carriages in the old livery. Also on display were the first E401, also without its livery, the E494.594 GTS Rail and two Sgnss carriages with some "Intermodaltrasporti" or Codognotto bodies. Next, in another display case, was the E402B.142 RFI accompanied by three carriages, including the Z1 Archimede semi-pilot, two Uai carriages for exceptional transport, a Type FF closed carriage and finally a set of three L carriages. From ViTrains and Pi.R.A.T.A. The Ferrovie Nord Milano E.620 and the E494 TRAXX DC3 in a temporary color scheme were present, as well as the Medium Distance carriages in all colors, as well as obviously all versions of the E.464, from the Intercity Giorno to the Xmpr. Moving to the HORNBY stand (Rivarossi, Lima, Arnold, Electrotren, Jouef), the first new addition was the 4-car Frecciarossa 1000, not yet definitive, and some D318s and 245s from various companies. Finally, at the Model Center stand, it was possible to see the ETR500 Y in the “I Treni Del Sole” color scheme, as well as the four-car Pendolino. Looking at other sectors, the Navimodellismo section featured the largest flotation tank in Europe, along with a display of a series of boats, some of which were also built in wood. Among the most visited and popular areas was the Brick Arena, an area dedicated to Lego bricks, where both adults and children could immerse themselves in creative building competitions and observe authentic works of art made with Lego.
