Then in the Rivne region, a group of heavily armed young men tried to take control of amber mining in the Sarny district. The Rivne prosecutor's office qualified those events as a terrorist act, and Lavrynenko became one of the main suspects. But despite the irrefutable evidence, law enforcement officers were in no hurry to arrest the man. Only a year later, they put him on the state wanted list. But this did not prevent Lavrynenko from walking around freely. In his native Korostyshev in the Zhytomyr region, he not only skillfully hid from the police, but also, together with his accomplices, kept almost the entire city in fear.
