The Impact of Swami Vivekananda's Chicago Addresses | Dr. Om Prakash Verma

Shri Ramakrishna Ashrama has organised a National Seminar on ‘Swami Vivekananda and His Chicago Addresses’ as a part of the 125th Anniversary celebration of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses in 1893, on Sunday, 4th August, 2019 from 09:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Ashrama’s V.I.V.E.C. Hall. The programme will consist of lectures by eminent speakers, audio-visual presentations, interactions, etc. The deliberations will be in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. Two of Swami Atmananda’s younger brothers joined the Ramakrishna Order and became monks - Swami Nikhilatmananda and the late Swami Tyagatmananda, both of whom at one time headed the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama in Allahabad. The Swami’s youngest brother, Dr. Om Prakash Verma, fulfilled the Swami Atmananda’s dream for building a memorial for Swami Vivekananda in Raipur. Dr. Om Prakash, while being an academician, also continued on the path of serving ‘Divine in Man’ through ‘Vivekananda Vidyapeeth. #SwamiVivekananda #Vivekananda
