The settlement of Tairova is the second most populous residential area (microdistrict) in Odessa, second only to the settlement of Kotovskogo. Territorially, it is part of the Kievsky district of Odessa. Tairova is a continuous area of predominantly multi-story buildings, stretching from Inglezi Street and the 4th station of the Lyustdorfskaya road in the north to Arkhitektorskaya Street in the south. In the east, the settlement borders on the private sector of Dmitrovka and Bolshoy Fontan, while the western border is also the city line. Historically, the name "Tairova" actually unites five different microdistricts: Tairova proper, Yuzhny, Shkolny, Vuzovsky and Deribasovka (formerly the settlement of Moryakov). The population of the "united" Tairova is about 160 thousand people (of which Tairova proper - 65 thousand people).
