Medications that can cause psychosis
Medications that can cause psychosis Did you know that some people experience psychosis when given aspirin? The list of medications that can cause psychosis, or make it worse, is pretty long. Anyone can have any side effect from any medication. Those side effects include psychosis. In this lecture, I’ll first try to offer some general principles of complex psychopharmacology. Then I will discuss some some common or noteworthy psychotogenic medications that clinicians are likely to encounter in psychiatric practice. This lecture is part of Northeast Ohio University's education(+)consultation service, SZconsult. A powerpoint file for this lecture is available at http://szconsult.org/
