My current favourite patterns and an infinity card - Part 1 | #pendrawing #tanglepatterns #zentangle

This is very much something different, and please let me know if you'd like to see the whole project, one part at a time. This morning, I watched this YouTube video -    • Let's Make an Infinity Card - Beginner Fri...   from ‪@playingwithpaperandglue‬ which showed how to make an infinity card. They look a bit complicated, but they aren't too bad, honest! However, I thought it would be fun to decorate one with lots of tangle patterns and motifs as a source of inspiration for drawing. I also thought they'd be great projects to make for a swap. Again, please let me know your thoughts on this. _________________________________________________________________________ Sketchbooks are great for just trying things out and not having to finish things. They are places where you give yourself permission to create. You can try different media or colour palettes out. You can explore patterns and motifs and experiment with changing them. You can finish things in a polished way, or leave them partly done as you've got what you need from the process. I often work on pieces of paper, which I then glue into my current sketchbook; that way, they don't get lost! It's fun to draw around them too. In this way, sketchbooks are repositories for ideas and explorations and a huge source of inspiration. That's the approach I'm taking with #Inktober and the #InktoberTangles2022 challenge this year, and will apply it to my use of sketchbooks going forward.
