There was an aura around her subtle take on Indian devotional music on records, and her stage presence was supposed to be enchanting. But I had never met Ganavya in person before Haldern Pop Festival - she showed up last minute for a short recital of 45 minutes. I was unsure of how to fit in her brief timing in town, and could only delicately slip myself into her show in the church. Not something I am keen of - but if you have to catch a lightning, you’d better go out into the storm.
