Senior & Beginner Workout - Slow and Gentle Barre
Tighten and tone your way through this muscle lengthening workout! Barre uses low impact movements at high repetitions. Some exercises are ballet inspired, but there is no dance experience required! Make this workout your own; the deeper you bend your knees and the higher you lift your legs, the more challenging it will be. Grab a sturdy chair and a light set of hand weights/dumbbells 1-4 pounds I recommend no shoes for a barre workout. It’s good to feel and work the muscles in your feet for balance. Socks are fine, but please make sure they have sticky bottoms if you are on a hard wood floor or slippery surface.
