2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek POV Drive and Review /// 120k miles!

Coming out of reviewing a 2021 Crosstrek Sport and back into our 2013 XV Crosstrek, the differences are big but the original formula hasn’t changed. It makes a low 148HP paired an early Subaru CVT. Ours has over 120k miles on the clock. 🏁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ From new 2013 this car has always been a great hauler and daily. The size and looks were just right and I remember the Desert Khaki paint used to attract loads of attention back then. Compared to the 2021 model, sure it is louder inside, has less tech, is slower, and less refined, but there is a raw Subaruness of good build quality all around and simplicity that just can’t be replicated. Used, they may still be underpowered but you can’t help but fall in love with these things.
