A Day Out On The Nene Valley Railway | Great North Road Tour Pt5

We had a day out on the Nene Valley Railway with friends Bryan, Glyn, Dave and Marion. The line goes from Peterborough to Yarwell, we boarded at Ferry Meadows (Overton) and went up to Yarwell and then down to Peterborough. It was a very warm day, so we kept the dogs in the shade and Jenny looked after them when we were outside looking at the Steam Engines. We all drank a lot of water! The cafe at Wansford was very good, and dog friendly. Watch out for Thomas The Tank Engine who is in the workshop, sorry hospital, having a restoration.
