They go to the enemies to stop them, but discover that they have summoned a creature called the Avatar of Evil, the Regular Army defeats it and wipes out the organization. Metal Slug Advance tells the story of two recruits, Tira Elson and Walter Ryan, as they train to become members of the Pilgrim Squad on an island. While saving other recruits, they discover that the location is a Rebel Army base and that the instructor is actually Allen Jr, son of Allen O'Nell, General Morden's right-hand man. After defeating him, they destroy an earthquake machine and dismantle the facility. In Metal Slug 3D General Donald Morden returns being financed by Ogma. After finding a machine with extremely advanced technology called Alator, the scientist betrays the rebels and reveals himself to be a Thuatha De Danaan, a people who use humanity as a guinea pig to find out if it can find the secret of eternal life. When it doesn't find out, it restarts and tries again. The plan goes wrong as a faulty machine turns on and swallows everything, Ogma tries to save humanity's data, but everything ends up exploding. Repentant, he gives the Regular Army the data of the Thuatha De Danaan so that humanity can learn from their mistakes and live better. Metal Slug: Allen's Battle Chronicles tells the events when Allen O'Nell discovers that the aliens are traitors between Metal Slug 2 and 3.
