A day in Yosemite National Park – and we quickly realize why this place is among the most impressive landscapes in the USA. Between gigantic granite cliffs, roaring waterfalls, and ancient sequoias, everything feels a bit bigger than anywhere else. We suddenly find ourselves standing among the famous giant sequoias – trees that were already standing when Europe was still in the Middle Ages. Later, we hike to the park's magnificent waterfalls and experience Yosemite exactly as you imagine it: raw, wild, and simply breathtaking. But this day also has a tragic side. While attempting to climb all the trees in Yosemite, a dramatic accident occurs involving a very familiar park mascot: Siegfried the squirrel. A moment that will stay with us for a long time… As if that weren't strange enough, we meet a Chinese priest along the way who surprises us with an unexpected encounter – one of those travel moments you can't plan. In the evening, we'll wind down the day in a relaxed atmosphere: with authentic food and an overnight stay in the heart of the Sierra Nevada at the Sierra Sky Ranch – a perfect end to a day filled with nature, stories, and unexpected encounters.
