What a way to close the night... Rush performing "By-Tor and the Snow Dog" seamlessly into "Working Man" live at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas on June 26, 2026. From the opening moments of "By-Tor and the Snow Dog" to the explosive finish of "Working Man," this was the perfect way to end an unforgettable evening. The entire arena knew the night was winding down, but the energy never faded. One of my favorite parts of this performance was looking around the arena from our seats high above the floor. You could appreciate the entire production—the massive video screens, synchronized lighting, lasers, and the excitement of thousands of Rush fans celebrating every note together. This was only the second time I've had the privilege of seeing Rush live. My first concert was back in 1986 at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana. Nearly forty years later, hearing these classics live again reminded me why Rush has remained one of my favorite bands throughout my life. I was fortunate to attend this concert with my brother, Mark Michell of Low End University, and my good friend Gregg Scott. Mark has spent years studying Geddy Lee's remarkable bass playing and now teaches bassists around the world through Low End University. Gregg is one of the most phenomenal guitar players I've ever known, and it was actually Gregg who reminded me that this performance began with "By-Tor and the Snow Dog" before finishing with "Working Man."
