Part 2 of our Walking Series This is the Kokubuncho edition, a local's guided walk. Recently, you can enjoy a good drink in front of Sendai Station. With Kanto-owned shopping malls like Parco concentrating in the area, the flow of people from the arcade to Kokubuncho seems to be weakening. Hang in there, local businesses! With stricter regulations on soliciting and Torikizoku's expansion to Sendai, I'd like to see Kokubuncho regain its former vitality. However, since I've quit drinking, it's still a place I'm not very familiar with.
