Camino de Santiago Día 4: De Villafranca del Bierzo a O Cebreiro 29k

After the beautiful vineyard landscapes of the previous stage and a rest in the charming village of Villafranca del Bierzo, we began one of the longest and toughest days of the French Way, but undoubtedly one of the most beautiful! It's a stage of almost 30 km with a 1000-meter climb to O Cebreiro, where the last few kilometers are a bit more demanding. It's truly a stage that, although all uphill, is thoroughly enjoyable; the surrounding landscapes become more and more incredible as we progress! And reaching the end of this wonderful stage is truly breathtaking! A day of nearly 8 hours of walking, but we finished with huge smiles, and afterwards we enjoyed the enchanting village of O Cebreiro—a truly amazing place!
