Turn failed prints and scrap in to new filament using the DIY Artme3D Filament Extruder
Now you can create new filament out of failed prints and scrap instead of throwing it away. The Artme3D filament extruder is an affordable and comes as a kit. All the blue parts on the machine have been 3D printed by myself. This extruder creates filament by gravity and not pull extrusion. Once the machine is running and the automatic extrusion is enabled, the diameter of the filament is between ≈ 1.71-1.78mm. I'm extremely excited that I am able to create my own "Cat3D filament" now. :-) I've bought the kit myself. So no sponsoring involved! Here you can buy the Artme3D filament extruder: https://www.artme-3d.de/ I've used PETG from a company called Purefil. It doesn't shrink and is really easy to print. https://www.purefil.ch/purefil-petg-f... Tea Canister: https://www.printables.com/model/1371... Twisted Box: https://www.printables.com/model/5428...
