Like everyone here, I love video games and I have some serious retro tendencies that are hard to contain. Except... time flies. I'm getting old. And I have to face facts: today's retro is something I experienced consciously. Ouch. Yes. The Wii, the 360, the PS3, you're retro. Watch out, little 3DS, time will come and do its work too, faster than you think. And you know what led me to this realization? Well… with recent technological advancements, some things no longer work, are no longer compatible, no longer supported… all that remains are devices or software that bear witness to a time when… we didn't play video games quite the same way. So, I mustered up the courage to mourn my teenage years. I dug out of my mind technologies that truly marked me, burying them here in this video so I can stop thinking about them, like all those times I have nightmares about going back to university and being late for all my exams. Maybe I should mourn university too; that would probably be more helpful for me, but anyway, in this video, the priority will be to talk to you about four forgotten video game technologies.
